SPEAKER

With baited breath We sit and wait, And hope the speaker won't be late.
We pray his voice is crisp and clear,
So that each word he speaks we hear.
We wish the things he has to say, Will cheer us up and make our day.
We bid the speaker, "Be a sport,
Keep the message sweet and short".
